About FixFolk
FixFolk is being built to make local service work simpler: a homeowner describes what needs doing, interested local professionals can find the opportunity, and both sides can compare information and communicate directly.
What makes it different
FixFolk's core service is 100% free for homeowners and service pros. Homeowners can post jobs without paying a posting fee, and contractors can find and respond to available work without paying per lead. FixFolk does not hold customer-to-contractor job payments. Trust signals are meant to come from real profiles, eligible completed FixFolk work, and reviews—not from buying a badge.
Growing locally
FixFolk is an early platform and is growing market by market. Some areas may have little or no activity yet. We would rather show an honest empty state than manufacture activity.

Local professionals can browse opportunities, respond to work, build a profile, communicate with customers, and keep track of FixFolk activity—all through the free core service.
